Community Guidelines

We welcome you to participate in the discussion at BloxTech Applications! Please treat this server with the same respect you would a public park. We, too, are a shared community resource; a place to share skills, knowledge and interests through channels at our server.

These aren't hard and fast rules, merely aids human moderation of BloxTech Applications. Use these guidelines to keep this a clean and civilized Discord server.

Be constructive
Help us make this a great server by always working to improve the discussion in some way, however small. If you are not sure your post adds to the conversation, think over what you want to say and try again later.

Be kind
Nothing sabotages a healthy conversation like rudeness:

Be civil. Don’t post anything that a reasonable person would consider offensive, abusive, or hate speech.
Keep it clean. Don’t post anything obscene or sexually explicit.
Respect each other. Don’t harass or grief anyone, impersonate people, or expose their private information. This includes sending unwanted DM invites.
Respect our server. Don’t post spam or otherwise vandalize the server.
Do not mention someone without any valid reason (at our discretion) or without good intentions, whether it is a role or a member.
Never post NSFW content. We are a family-friendly server. This includes NSFW abbreviations.

These are not concrete terms with precise definitions; avoid even the appearance of any of these things. If you’re unsure, ask yourself how you would feel if your post was featured on the front page of the New York Times.

This is a public server. Keep the language, links, and images safe for family and friends.

Keep it Tidy
Make the effort to put things in the right channel, so that we can spend more time discussing and less cleaning up. So:

Use the channels where it's intended for.
Don’t cross-post the same thing in multiple channels.
Don’t post no-content replies, for example sending dots.
Don’t include a signature in your message.
Don't send messages in full capitals (also referred as 'caps abuse').
Don't send a lot of emoticons in one message.

Be agreeable, even when you disagree
You may wish to respond to something by disagreeing with it. That’s fine. But, remember to criticize ideas, not people. Please avoid:

Ad hominem attacks.
Responding to a post’s tone instead of its actual content.
Knee-jerk contradiction.

Instead, provide reasoned counter-arguments that improve the conversation.

Trading / Marketplace Rules
Here at BloxTech the following items are considered scamming:
Not completing what you where paid to do.
Selling / Advertising leaked assets, or other assets you do not have a right to sell.
Changing the terms of a deal, without getting approval from all parties.

Let's do it, guys!
I believe we can make an great place to be, together!
